2010-01-26 WRAS accepted DVGW W534 plastic Pipes and Fittings

WRAS have accepted the thermal cycling test as detailed in DVGW W534 as being equivalent to the Regulators Specification TCS1212.6, for plastic pipes and fittings. However, this does not apply to Polybutylene and Cross Linked Polyethylene pipes, and sizes above 40mm. Manufacturers of these plastic systems can use the Kiwa laboratories to assist with Kiwa, DVGW and WRAS certifications.
